Children

The Children’s Department is located in the original historic section of the library. It has a great selection of new and classic children’s books including the most requested series. We also have graphic novels, books on CD, board books and children’s magazines.

The Children’s Department Programs:

Toddler & Preschool Story Time is a weekly program for children ages 5 and under. Each story time includes age appropriate stories, crafts, rhymes, and more. No registration required.

Other special programs are offered periodically. Check the Events tab for more information.

Ohio Family Literacy

The Ohio Family Literacy website helps parents of preschoolers get their child ready for school.  It is based on the Every Child Ready to Read® practices of reading, writing, singing, talking, playing and counting.  On the site there are different fun skill-building activities for each day. Click on the link below to check it out.
